He was born in Kusadasi in 1968. After graduating from İZMİR ATATÜRK HIGH SCHOOL (İ.A.L.) in 1985, he graduated from BOĞAZİÇİ UNIVERSITY (B.Ü.) M.F. He received his "Bachelor's Degree" at the Department of Chemical Engineering and again at the BOĞAZİÇİ UNIVERSITY (B.Ü.) Vocational School of Tourism; did not complete. After graduating from MİMAR SİNAN UNIVERSITY (M.S.Ü.) Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department in 1991, he graduated from M.S.Ü. He received his "Master's Degree" with a first degree in the Painting Department of the Social Sciences Institute and then again at M.S.Ü. He completed his "Competence in Art" education, which he won with a first degree at the Painting Department of the Social Sciences Institute. In 2000, in the same period, he started his academic career at YILDIZ TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (Y.T.Ü.) Art Design Faculty. Here, he taught various courses at the Combined Arts and Communication Design Programs and held various academic/administrative positions such as "Art and Design Master's Program Executive", "Assistant Dean", "Senate Member". He returned to MİMAR SİNAN FINE ARTS UNIVERSITY (M.S.G.S.Ü.) as an "Associate Professor" in 2012 at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Basic Education, Department of Basic Art and Design Education. He held various academic/administrative positions such as "Head of Department of Basic Art and Design Education", "Head of Art and Design Education Master's Program", “Executive Director” and “Museum Manager”.
He was appointed to the "Professorship" staff in 2016. He is still working at MİMAR SİNAN FINE ARTS UNIVERSITY, Department of Basic Art and Design Education. In addition, he completed the Clinical Psychology Master's Program at the Social Sciences Institute of ISTANBUL KENT UNIVERSITY (İ.K.Ü.).
He has articles published in the academic field, national and international journals, and papers presented at scientific meetings and published in the proceedings book, and has provided postgraduate thesis advisory, journal refereeing, manager and team memberships in national and international projects, jury memberships, visual art and design consultancy; He has given numerous lectures at various public and private universities.
In the artistic field, many national and international personal exhibitions, performances and art events; group exhibition, fair, festival, etc. their participation has carried out various kinds of seminars and workshops; He took part in awards and exhibitions in competitions in various fields.
The artist working in the fields of Painting, Music, Performing and Performing Arts, Basic Art and Design, Education, Digital Technologies (Virtual Reality, Two and Three-Dimensional Computer Aided Design and Animation), Interaction Design, Programming, Comics, Zen and Far Eastern Arts, Aikido, The artist working in the fields of Tai-chi, Scientific Trance Techniques, Mind, Psychology, Creativity and Unconscious and also “MAD Thinking”, which includes a new proposition in which it integrates these areas; He is developing the Thinking, Education and Individual Transformation System (MindofArt&Design) / (Design Thinking with Art and Mind).
MAD Thinking is a system that combines processes equivalent to the basics of Design Thinking with the basic concepts of Art and Psychology. It aims to provide "deep and focused thinking" by using the rich potential of the mind in the micro scope, and "self-actualization" in the macro scope. In addition to art, he continues her lectures, other academic studies and "Art and Creative Mind" series trainings. However, for the last two years, he has been working on "MAD Artist", which he gamified in order to make MAD Thinking even more effective with the possibilities of technology and to reach large masses. In this project, which can be described as a Three-Dimensional Computer Game or Interactive Education System; A beautiful tropical island filled with art-related quests and adventures serves as a metaphor for the actor's inner journey aimed at awakening the artist and the wisdom within.
